- Analysis of NIH R01 Application Critiques – Female PIs applying for renewal have lower RO1 scores than their male counterparts.
- Gender stereotypes about intellectual ability emerge early – Girls learn gender stereotypes that they are more likely to say they try hard rather than are smart around age 6.
- To seem confident, women have to be seen as warm – Performance feedback showed that in order to seem confident, capable, and influential, women had to first be perceived as warm.
